    A walk of about 10 minutes may be required from the arrival point to the Full Moon Party area. These times are approximate.

  4. Return from Koh Phangan

Pickup information

Free shared hotel transfer applies only to Chaweng, Bophut, Maenam, Lamai, Choeng Mon, Bang Rak, Fisherman's Village, and Plai Laem.
Remote hotels, hillside or mountain properties, and difficult-access locations are not served. Guests outside the included areas may need to use a meeting point or arrange their own transport. Eligibility and exact pickup details are confirmed after booking.

You do not need to choose a return time in advance. Return to the same pier where you arrived and join the queue for the next available shared speedboat. We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before you wish to leave. Departure times are approximate and waiting may be required depending on passenger numbers and operations.

Full Moon Party nights can cause heavy traffic, and shared pickup vehicles may arrive later than the estimated pickup window. Once your pickup window begins, please remain ready and visibly waiting in your hotel lobby until the vehicle arrives. Do not return to your room or leave the hotel while waiting. The vehicle cannot wait if you are absent or not ready because it must collect other guests. If you miss the included pickup, you must arrange and pay for your own transport to the confirmed pier, and the ticket is non-refundable. If you prefer not to wait, contact SamuiToday before leaving the hotel to confirm the correct pier and check-in time, then travel there at your own expense.

Know before you go

  • The Full Moon Party attracts a very large number of participants each month. Guests may need to queue and wait for hotel transfers and boats, especially during heavily booked periods.
  • All pickup, departure, crossing, arrival, and return times are approximate. Boats may not leave exactly on time because of passenger volume, queue management, operational requirements, sea conditions, or strong wind and waves. On-time departure is not assured.
  • Waiting or operational and weather-related delays are not grounds for a refund. This does not remove the standard right to cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled service.
  • You do not need to choose a return time in advance. When you are ready to return, go back to the same pier where you arrived and join the queue for the next available speedboat. We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before you wish to leave, as waiting time depends on the number of passengers. You will receive a boarding tag at check-in. Please keep it with you, as it is required for the return journey. If the tag is lost, you will need to purchase a new ticket. If you prefer not to wait for the shared speedboat, you may arrange a private boat at the pier at your own expense.
  • After arriving back in Koh Samui, round-trip ticket holders will receive a shared transfer back to their hotel. Waiting may be required while passengers are grouped for the transfer. If you prefer a more private trip with flexible timing and less waiting, please ask us about a private boat and private transfer option.
  • This is a crowded adult nightlife event where intoxicated participants may be present. Protect your belongings, remain aware of your surroundings, and take responsibility for your own personal safety. SamuiToday does not supervise the party or guarantee personal security.
