1. Scope and acceptance
These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of the SamuiToday website and to bookings made through SamuiToday.
By creating a booking or continuing to payment, you confirm that you have read these Terms and agree to them. If you book for other travelers, you confirm that you are authorized to do so and that they will follow these Terms and the operator’s instructions.
If a product page states a more specific rule for that tour, that product-page rule applies to that booking together with these Terms.
2. SamuiToday’s role and third-party operators
SamuiToday is the customer-facing brand, website, and sales channel operated by Samui Transport & Tours, a licensed Thai travel business holding Tourism Business Licence No. 44/00292. In these Terms, ‘we,’ ‘us,’ and ‘our’ mean Samui Transport & Tours operating through the SamuiToday brand and website.
SamuiToday is the customer-facing brand, website, and sales channel. Bookings and online payments are arranged by Samui Transport & Tours. Unless expressly stated otherwise, tours, activities, vessels, vehicles, equipment, guides, and on-site services may be provided by independent tour operators. Each operator is directly responsible for its operations, safety standards, and performance of its services.
We are responsible for the booking information shown on the SamuiToday website, taking your reservation, handling online payment through Stripe, issuing your booking reference and E-ticket after payment is confirmed, and our own acts or omissions in that booking process.
The independent operator is responsible for performing the tour or activity, including its staff, guides, vessels, vehicles, equipment, safety arrangements, and on-site conduct.
We do not claim to own, operate, staff, or control every boat, vehicle, tour, or activity listed on the SamuiToday website.
3. Product information and your review
Please read the product page before you pay. It describes the itinerary, inclusions, exclusions, local fees, meeting or pickup notes, age or fitness limits, and other conditions for that activity.
Details can change for weather, sea conditions, safety, or operator operations. If something is essential to you, contact us before booking.
It is your responsibility to check that the date, departure, traveler numbers, and activity are suitable for everyone in your group.
4. Prices, local fees, and payment
Prices on SamuiToday are shown in Thai baht (THB). The amount charged online is the total calculated by our system when the booking is created.
Online card payment is processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full card number. A booking stays unpaid until Stripe confirms payment. Opening or returning from a payment page does not, by itself, confirm payment.
National park fees, island admission, and other local charges that the product page says are paid in cash or on site are not included in the Stripe charge. Those amounts are paid to the relevant operator, park, or local collector and cannot be refunded to your card as part of the online payment.
We currently collect the online booking amount in full at checkout. There is no deposit-and-balance plan on this website.
5. Booking confirmation and E-tickets
Your booking is created as pending when you continue to payment. It is confirmed only after Stripe verifies payment.
After payment is confirmed, we issue your E-ticket and send confirmation to the email address you provided. Keep your booking number and E-ticket. You may need them for check-in, pickup, or support.
6. Information you provide
You must give accurate lead-traveler details, a reachable WhatsApp or phone number, and a working email address.
If hotel pickup is included or requested, provide the correct hotel name and, when you know it, the room number. Wrong or missing contact or hotel details can delay pickup or prevent us and the operator from reaching you.
We use this information to confirm the booking, coordinate pickup or meeting instructions, and contact you about the reservation.
7. Changes, cancellations, refunds, no-shows, and late arrival
You cannot cancel or change a date yourself on this website. Please contact SamuiToday with your booking number and travel date. Our team will process the request with the operator where needed.
If you cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled service start time shown in your booking, calculated in Asia/Bangkok time, you will receive a refund of the online amount paid, less any payment-processing and refund fees actually incurred and not recoverable by us, unless a stricter cancellation rule was clearly displayed on the product page before payment.
The remaining amount will be returned to the original payment method. Cancellation less than 24 hours before the scheduled service start time shown in your booking is generally not refundable.
When a refund is due under the standard 24-hour cancellation policy above, we will inform you of the refund amount and any payment-processing or refund fees deducted before processing it. Under that standard policy, the deduction will not exceed the payment-processing and refund fees actually incurred and not recoverable by us. A clearly disclosed product-specific cancellation rule may result in a different refund amount.
Late arrival, a missed pickup, a missed departure, and a no-show caused by the customer are generally not refundable.
If incorrect or incomplete customer information prevents the service from being provided, the booking is generally not refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law.
If a product page clearly displays a stricter cancellation rule before you pay, that stricter rule applies to that booking. A stricter rule that was not shown on the product page before payment does not apply.
After Stripe accepts the refund, the time it takes to appear depends on your bank or card issuer.
Cash local fees already paid on site are outside the online refund.
If the customer has checked in, boarded the vehicle or vessel, commenced the tour or activity, or otherwise used any part of the booked service, no refund will be provided, including for any unused or uncompleted portion of the service, except where a refund is required by applicable law.
8. Weather, sea conditions, safety, itinerary changes, and force majeure
Boat trips and outdoor activities depend on weather, sea conditions, and safety. The operator may change the itinerary, stop order, timing, meeting point, vessel, or vehicle, or may postpone or cancel the activity, when reasonably necessary for safety or operations.
If we or the operator cancel the booked service before it begins and you do not accept an offered alternative or rescheduled date, the online amount paid for the cancelled service will be refunded in full without deduction of payment-processing or refund fees.
This section does not reduce rights that Thai law does not allow to be limited.
9. Health, fitness, age, pregnancy, and activity risks
Many tours and activities involve swimming, boats, vehicles, walking, heat, or physical effort. Product pages may list age, height, weight, pregnancy, or medical restrictions.
You must decide whether the activity is suitable for you and everyone you book for. If you are pregnant, have a heart, back, or mobility condition, or have any medical concern, consult a doctor before booking and tell us and the operator if it may affect participation.
The operator may refuse participation if it reasonably believes a traveler cannot join safely. That decision is the operator’s operational and safety responsibility.
10. Insurance
Insurance arrangements and coverage vary by operator and activity. Do not assume that insurance is included unless the product page expressly says so.
- Coverage, where it exists, may apply only to certain risks and may not fully cover personal injury or medical expenses, death or disability, vehicle or equipment damage, or third-party liability.
- You may have to pay an excess, deductible, or uninsured loss.
- Before you join the activity, review the operator’s terms, exclusions, deductibles, and any waiver you are asked to sign.
- We recommend suitable personal travel insurance for medical care, evacuation, cancellation, and personal belongings.
We do not assess, approve, pay, or guarantee insurance claims.
11. Accidents, injury, property damage, and claims
If an incident occurs, seek emergency or medical assistance first.
Notify the operator and SamuiToday promptly, and keep your booking number, travel date, and any available incident or medical records.
A claim may need to be submitted to the relevant operator or insurer. We will provide available contact information and reasonable coordination assistance. You may contact SamuiToday as well as the operator.
The operator is responsible for investigating and responding to incidents that arise from its operations, staff, equipment, or on-site conduct, except where we are legally responsible for our own acts or omissions.
12. Responsibility and legal limits
These Terms allocate responsibility. They do not say that we have no liability at all, and they do not exclude rights or liabilities that Thai law does not allow to be excluded.
We remain responsible for our own booking information, payment handling, and our own fraud, wilful misconduct, negligence, or misrepresentation.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for the operator’s performance of the tour or activity, or for loss arising from the operator’s staff, guides, vessels, vehicles, equipment, safety practices, or on-site conduct.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where Thai law does not allow that exclusion, or any other mandatory legal obligation.
13. Customer conduct and safety instructions
You must follow the operator’s safety briefing and lawful instructions, wear required safety equipment, and treat staff, other guests, vessels, vehicles, and the environment with care.
The operator may refuse or end participation if a traveler is unreasonably unsafe, abusive, or intoxicated. Fees are not refunded where the traveler caused that refusal, except where the law requires otherwise.
14. Intellectual property and website use
Website content, including text, branding, photographs, and page design, is owned by or licensed to Samui Transport & Tours for use through the SamuiToday brand and website, and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may use the website to browse and book. You may not copy, scrape, or reuse the content for commercial purposes without prior written permission, except as the law allows.
The website may be unavailable from time to time for maintenance or technical reasons. We will try to keep it usable, but we do not promise uninterrupted access.
15. Privacy
We collect and use personal data to process bookings, payments, pickup coordination, E-tickets, and customer support. Please also read our Privacy Policy.
Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we use it, who may receive it, and how you can contact us about your privacy rights.
16. Governing law, disputes, and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand.
If you have a concern, contact SamuiToday first so we can try to resolve it. You may also have rights under Thai consumer-protection law that these Terms do not take away.
Contact: WhatsApp +66 97 925 44 55, LINE, email info@samuitoday.com, or the Contact page. Hours: 09:00–22:00, Thailand time. When asking about a booking, please include your booking number and travel date.
17. Effective date and versioning
These Terms take effect on the date shown at the top of this page. The version identifier is 2026-09-03.
The version you accept when you complete the required Terms acceptance before continuing to payment is the version that applies to that booking, together with any product-page rules clearly shown before payment.
A later update does not automatically change a booking you already paid for, except where the law requires or you expressly agree to the change.
