Standard pickup areas are Lamai, Maenam, Chaweng, Chaweng Noi, Choeng Mon, Plai Laem, Bophut, Bangrak, and Fisherman’s Village.
Your exact hotel pickup time will be confirmed through the contact details provided in your booking once we receive your accommodation information.
Please be ready in the hotel lobby at least 10 minutes before pickup. Shared transfers cannot wait for late guests.
Hotels in remote areas or locations with difficult vehicle access, including steep or hillside areas, may require a nearby meeting point.

Do I have to join the mud spa and bathing activities?

No. The mud spa and bathing activities are optional. You are welcome to take part, but you will never be forced to enter the mud or water if you prefer not to.

Is the Half Day program suitable for children?

Yes. Children of all ages can join the Half Day program with close supervision from a parent or guardian. For booking, children aged 4–10 use the child rate, while infants aged 0–3 can join free of charge.

Can I join if I’m pregnant or have mobility or medical conditions?

For safety, this program is not recommended for pregnant travelers or guests with serious back, mobility, or medical conditions that may make outdoor activities around elephants, mud, or water difficult. If you have a health or mobility concern, please contact us before booking so we can check suitability with the sanctuary.

What happens if it rains?

The program normally continues in the rain. Please check the weather forecast before your visit and come prepared for the conditions. Activities may be adjusted when necessary for safety.

What makes this a responsible elephant experience?

The experience focuses on learning about elephant care and natural behavior through activities such as feeding, preparing nutritional supplements, observing basic health care, and spending time with the elephants under the supervision of the sanctuary team.
