Itinerary

  1. Hotel pickup & transfer to base camp

    Pickup from your hotel or confirmed meeting point and transfer to the ATV base camp.

  2. Safety briefing & riding instructions

    Meet your guides, receive riding instructions, and get fitted with a helmet before starting the adventure.

  3. Guided ATV adventure

    Follow your guide through jungle trails and hillside tracks, with the route and riding distance depending on your selected program.

  4. Viewpoints & rest stops

    Stop at scenic viewpoints and rest areas along the route as included in your selected program.

  5. Return to base camp

    Finish the ATV ride and return to the base camp. The 3-hour program includes a snack box and drink, while the 4-hour program includes a lunch set.

  6. Hotel transfer

    Take the shared transfer back to your hotel or confirmed drop-off point.

Pickup information

Standard pickup areas are Lamai, Maenam, Chaweng, Chaweng Noi, Choeng Mon, Plai Laem, Bophut, Bangrak, and Fisherman’s Village.
The selected time is the ATV activity time, not the hotel pickup time. Morning hotel pickup is approximately 09:00–09:30 for the 10:00 activity, afternoon pickup is approximately 13:30–14:00 for the 14:30 activity, and sunset pickup is approximately 15:30–16:00 for the 16:30 activity. The sunset departure is available for the 1-hour and 2-hour programs only. Your exact hotel pickup time will be confirmed through the contact details provided in your booking once we receive your accommodation information.
The 1-hour and 2-hour programs share the same hotel transfer schedule. Guests who choose the 1-hour program will finish riding earlier and may need to wait at the camp for the 2-hour group before the shared transfer returns to the hotel.
Please be ready at the hotel lobby or confirmed meeting point at least 10 minutes before pickup. Shared transfers cannot wait for late guests. If you miss your pickup, you will need to arrange your own transportation to the base camp at your own expense.
Hotels with steep hills, deep lanes, or difficult vehicle access may require a nearby main-road meeting point.
Hotels outside the standard pickup area may have an additional transfer charge or pickup may not be available.

Know before you go

  • Routes, stops, and riding pace may change depending on weather, trail conditions, and safety.
  • The minimum age to drive an ATV is 16 years. Guests under 16 may join only as passengers.
  • Each ATV can carry one driver and a maximum of one passenger. Choose driver only, driver + passenger (age 10+), or driver + child under 10. The combined weight of the driver and passenger must not exceed 140 kg per ATV.
  • Online bookings require at least one ATV package.

FAQ

Can I join if I have never ridden an ATV before?

Yes. First-time ATV riders can join, and a safety briefing and riding instructions are provided before the tour. However, we recommend having some previous experience riding a motorbike, as this will help you feel more comfortable controlling the ATV on off-road and mountain trails.

Do I need a driving licence to ride the ATV?

No driving licence is required to join this ATV tour. Drivers must be at least 16 years old and should be comfortable controlling the ATV after the safety briefing and riding instructions.

What happens if it rains?

ATV riding can normally continue in the rain, and wet conditions can make the off-road experience even more adventurous and fun. Routes, riding pace, or stops may be adjusted depending on the weather, trail conditions, and safety.

Will I get muddy or wet during the ATV ride?

ATV riding is an outdoor off-road activity, so expect some dust, dirt, or mud depending on the weather and trail conditions. Some routes may also pass through shallow water, but this does not normally mean getting completely wet. We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes that you do not mind getting dirty.

Is the 1-hour ATV tour enough, or should I choose a longer program?

The 1-hour program is a good option if you are short on time or simply want a taste of the ATV experience. For a more complete adventure, we recommend at least the 2-hour program, which takes you farther into the trails with more riding time, scenic viewpoints, and a visit to the waterfall. Longer programs are better suited to those who want to spend more time exploring the mountain trails.
