Your adventure begins when the 4x4 vehicle picks you up directly from your hotel. Visit Plai Laem Temple, Big Buddha and the famous Grandfather and Grandmother Rocks before leaving the main roads and heading into the mountains.

Pickup information

Standard pickup areas are Lamai, Maenam, Chaweng, Chaweng Noi, Choeng Mon, Plai Laem, Bophut, Bangrak, and Fisherman’s Village.
The selected 08:30 time is the approximate hotel pickup time. Your exact pickup time will be confirmed through the contact details provided in your booking once we receive your accommodation information.
Please be ready in the hotel lobby at least 10 minutes before pickup. Shared pickups cannot wait for late guests.
Hotels located on steep hills or roads that cannot be accessed by standard transfer vehicles may require a nearby meeting point.
Hotels outside the standard pickup area may have an additional transfer charge or pickup may not be available.

Know before you go

  • The tour includes mountain and off-road sections, and the 4x4 ride can be bumpy. Please remain seated and follow staff safety instructions during the journey.
  • Please dress respectfully when visiting temples. Shoulders and knees should be covered, and revealing clothing should be avoided. A light cover-up or sarong is useful if needed.
  • The exact itinerary, route and timing may change depending on weather, road conditions and daily operations. Waterfall conditions and water levels also vary by season and recent rainfall.
  • Please have a photo of your passport or ID saved on your phone on the travel day for insurance registration at check-in. Insurance coverage is subject to the operator’s terms and conditions.
